Munnar - A popular tourist destiny


Munnar, as the name suggests is at the merging point of three rivers namely Nallathanni, Kundala and Mundrapuzha. It is located at 1600 m, above sea level. Pallivasal situated at nearly three kilometers from Munnar is another tourist destination. It can be introduced as the venue of first hydro-electric project in Kerala.

Power house waterfall


Power house waterfall near Chinnakanal is another attraction found near Munnar. It is located about 2000m above sea level. Anayirangal, renowned for tea plants and forests is located about 22 km from Munnar. Top station is another main spot near Munnar. It is located at a height of 1700 m above sea level.
