Munnar - A popular tourist destiny
Munnar, as the name suggests is at the merging point of three rivers namely Nallathanni, Kundala and Mundrapuzha. It is located at 1600 m, above sea level. Dairy farm run by Indo Swiss Livestock project is another main feature in Mattupetty. You can find here high yielding breeds of cows. Pallivasal situated at nearly three kilometers from Munnar is another tourist destination. It can be introduced as the venue of first hydro-electric project in Kerala. Power house waterfall
Power house waterfall near Chinnakanal is another attraction found near Munnar. It is located about 2000m above sea level. Anayirangal, renowned for tea plants and forests is located about 22 km from Munnar. Top station is another main spot near Munnar. It is located at a height of 1700 m above sea level.

As the name suggests, this place is considered to be as the highest point in Munnar kodaikanal road. Tea museum, as the name suggests is a museum exclusively dedicated for tea. It was opened some years ago by Tata Tea in Munnar.
