Vehicles are allowed only till Bonacaud region. Trekking to the peak requires nearly two days. 
As per studies, Agstayarmala is renowned for an amazing range of herbs and medicinal plants. Also, you can find here tea gardens established by Europeans particularly from England. Rare flora and fauna is an interesting feature of this biosphere reserve. If you wish to do trekking, the best time period is from the month of January to the month of March.
