Story is considered to be like as follows. Little boy who was believed to be the Lord Vishnu disappeared after doing some mischievous activities. Sage chased away boy and reached Ananthankadu in Thiruvananthapuram. He saw the boy merging with Iluppa tree. Later the tree fell down and became Anantha Sayana Moorthi (Lord Vishnu sleeping in the celestial snake Anantha).
