Subdued European markets did not deter the buyers in lapping up Tier III and II stocks. The index closed at 18257.12 up 208.27 points. Likewise Nifty closed at 5479.15 points.

None of the fears that had threatened to emerge at the close of Monday were visible on Tuesday. Instead the market behaved as though the decline experienced on Monday never happened. Yes, the Indian Stock Markets ended at near day's high on , Wednesday, after hectic buying was noticed in the last one hour of trade. The sectors included IT, FMCG and metal spae. Subdued European markets did not deter the buyers in lapping up Tier III and II stocks. The index closed at 18257.12 up 208.27 points. Likewise Nifty closed at 5479.15 points.
