But Saurav Ganguly showed his intent with the bat, he won the max number of Man of the match awards in KKR team and he was among the top run getters of the IPL too.
In the fourth season of IPL auction, there is no more chance for the most success full captain of India. Out of the ten franchises no one bided for the favourite son of Kolkata rather the Prince. His home team first ignored him. There was a great outrage in Kolkata over KKR not retaining Ganguly in the team. Effigies of Shah Rukh Khan and Kolkata Knight Riders were burnt in the streets.

But the co- owner of KKR SRK seems in a bit of dilemma over Saurav Ganguly , after his and KKR's Effigies were burnt in Kolkata. Mr SRK now behind Ganguly to resolve the issue, he offered the post of Mentor post in KKR. Certainly Mr SRK doesn't want a situation like that happened when Saurav Ganguly was thrown out of the team. Dravid captained the side in pace of saurav and in the match against South Africa in Eden's the crowd booed the Indian team and supported the opposition. It will be a disaster for KKR if something that kind is happened.
Mr SRK is real good at negotiating and hope he negotiates with Saurav Ganguly , but the gods of cricket have shut the door before Saurav Ganguly for ever as a player again.
KKR is having real good team in hands now. They are probable's for the crown this year, and they got everything to cheer about. Batters like Gautam Gmbir and Yusuf Pathan, All rounders like Jacques Kallis and Sakib Al Hassan and Bowlers like Bret lee. But probably KKR miss one important thing A Home crowd to cheer for .
