The fourth edition of the Indian Premier League will start from 8th April 2011 onwards. Two more teams, Sahara Pune Warriors and Kochi Tuskers Kerala have been added upto the existing 8 teams. The first match will be played between the last year champions Chennai Superkings and the Kolkata Knight Riders on 8th April at Chennai. The final match will also be played at the same venue. The teams for the IPL season 4 are Bangalore Royal Challengers, Kings XI Punjab, Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Deccan Chargers, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils, Rajasthan Royals, Sahara Pune Warriors and Kochi Tuskers Kerala. The first DLF IPL was won by Shane Warn led Rajasthan Royals in 2008, but they failed to qualify to the knock out round in the next two years. Deccan Chargers won the second IPL in 2009 and Chennai Super Kings clinched the last DLF IPL season by defeating the strong Mumbai Indians led by Sachin Tendulkar.
The first match will be played between the last year champions Chennai Superkings and the Kolkata Knight Riders on 8th April at Chennai. The inauguration ceremony will also take place in the same ground before the match begins. The final match of this Indian Premier League 2011 is also scheduled to conduct in the same ground at Chennai. This will be plus point for the last year winners Chennai Super Kings if they qualify to the finals. The fixture for the IPL 4 is given below. But this may change due to the elections that are going to conduct in some of the states.
