Death toll in the Sabarimala Stampede has gone up to 104,official has confirmed the number to 104 , post-mortem was conducted on 80 five body in kumili Govrt Hospital and 55 were identified that including two malyalees. Majority of the Pilgrims died are from the states of Karnataka and Andhra.

More number of people are injured and are admitted to the Vandiperiyar Govt hospital, critical cases are take n to the Kottayam Medical College. Police has concluded the search for more bodies in Vandiperiyar. There are reports of 3 kids being missing from Pullumedu of Vandiperiyar
Govt has taken initiative to take the dead bodies of the Pilgrims to the family. Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh and Congress president conveyed they condolence in the Sabarimala Stampede
Prime minister has announces a compensation of 1 lakh for the family of the victims and Rs 50000 for those who injured.
