Steel Authority of India, SAIL, the largest steel producing Maharatna Company of India, invites application from only Indian Nationals for the post of Attendant cum Technician and Operator cum Technician for IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur. There is a total of 692 vacancies. The details are as follows:

Name of the Posts

Total No of Posts: 692 Posts
1. Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee): 392 Posts
2. Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee): 300 Posts

Age limit

Maximum age 28 years as on 01/02/2011 (Relaxation as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification:

Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee): Matriculation or equivalent and ITI.
Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee): Diploma in engineering.

Application Fee

Demand draft of Rs 250/- (Gen and OBC),
Rs 50/- for SC/ST/PWD,
Drawn in favour of
'Steel Authority of India Ltd – IISCO Steel Plant',
payable at Burnpur from any Nationalised Bank.

Selection Procedure

The mode of selection is written test/Personal interview basis.
