A devastating tsunami hit the coast of northeast Japan on Friday. This was happend just after an 8.9 magnitude earthquake about 80 miles offshore. From the television images, it was seen that more than 13 feet roaring inland because of tsunami. CNN reported that air and land transportation was severely disrupted. The 4-meter tsunami causes the damage like swept boats, cars, buildings and tons of debris miles inland. Fires triggered by the earth quake burned out of control up and down the coast, including one at an oil refinery.
Earlier, a tsunami warning was issued for dozens of Pacific countries. Many buildings shook violently through the main quake and the wave of tsunami that followed. From the reports showed in Television, many farm lands swept over by the waves of muddy waters near the city.
There is no way to know about the damage, injuries and deaths since the communications are lost.
