A huge earthquake followed by a disastrous Tsunami causes Japan to be a disastrous country again. Although Indian need not have to be worried about Tsunami. India Tsunami Centre says there are no local alerts yet in wake of Japanese quake.

Tsunami

The devastating tsunami hit the coast of northeast Japan on Friday just after an 8.9 magnitude earthquake about 80 miles offshore. From the television images, it was seen that more than 13 feet roaring inland because of tsunami. CNN reported that air and land transportation was severely disrupted. The 4-meter tsunami causes the damage like swept boats, cars, buildings and tons of debris miles inland. Fires triggered by the earth quake burned out of control up and down the coast, including one at an oil refinery.
