It is near the Oregon border, waves begin to surge after 7:30 a.m. Then the tide began rising along beaches in Crescent City. The tsunami was expected to hit the California. It is predicting that waves could reach as high as 7 feet.
Earlier, there have been activating tsunami warning sirens along the coasts and have urged the residents to seek higher ground. Tsunami warnings were given to California after a devastating 8.9 magnitude earthquake followed by a tsunami slammed the continent. More than 300 peoples dead and many ones reported missing.
