Salt N Pepper is an upcoming Malayalam movie which will hit the theatres on June 15th 2011. It is the second venture of director Ashiq Abu who has earlier directed the hit film Daddy Cool starring Mammotty. The financial aspects of the film have been handled by Lucsam Cinema. The lead roles in Salt N Pepper are played by Shweta Menon, Mythili, Asif Ali and Lal. The movie is meant for the mature audience as it will contain some spicy scenes with actress Shweta Menon who is known to be one of the boldest actresses of Malayalam cinema. Story of Salt N Pepper Malayalam movie

The story of Salt N Pepper revolves around two middle aged people who are food lovers which is how the film gets its name as 'Salt N Pepper'. Though it is a love story, it is somewhat different from the usual typical love stories. These two people communicate through phone to make an eight layered pudding. By the time this pudding has been completed, love blossoms between the two of them. Lal and Shweta Menon have portrayed the roles of the middle-aged people. There is one more pair in the movie named Manu (Asif Ali) and Meenakshi (Mythili). Love blossoms between this pair when Manu saves Meenakshi from an accident and takes good care of her in the hospital.
