Malayalam Mega Star Mammootty from will be known not only as an actor, but also as a producer too. For the first time Mammooty joins hands with Lal for the latest movie 'Cobra'. Cobra tells the story of two co-brothers who are well known as Cobra. The name Cobra is used for co-brothers.

The movie will be a full entertainer which would be accepted for all age groups. The Malayalam Movie fans have seen both the actors in couple of movies like Thommanum Makkalum and Best Actor. Both the movies had brought success in box office.

Earlier mammootty's own production company 'Playhouse has been much active in distributing movies like Ritu, Kaana Kanmani, Chattambinadu and Neelathamara.
The Malayalam Movie Industry eyes on this new venture as the two actors once again join together to deliver a successful movie for the movie lovers.

Mamta Mohandas and Lakshmi Rai will play the lead roles as heroines in this movie. The music department is handled by Alex Paul. Mammootty will join the crew on November 1, just after the shoot of his current movie Vinecile Vyapari directed by Shafi. The movie is slated to hit the theatres in February 2012.
