Entries Invited for Akshayasri Award
The Akshayasri Award is instituted by the Sarojini- Damodaran foundation run by S. D. Shibulal(Infosys Chief Executive Officer). The award is given to the best organic farmer of Kerala. The award consists of Rs 50, 000 for the best organic farmer of state level & Rs 10, 000 each for 6 district level winners. It should be noted that this award is mainly intended for food crops. Another point is that farmers from places like Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Kannur & Alappuzha can send their entries for the district level awards also. Remember that entries should contain informations like telephone number, complete address, roadmap to their farm, time period they engaged in organic farming, details of crops etc. Entries should be send to the corresponding district through the following person
