Kerala High court has given permission to introduce the virtual queue system for devotes to have darshanan at the shrine of Lord Ayyappa at Sabarimala. According to the new virtual queue system, pilgrims can select date and time to join the queue at the Sannidhanam. According to this new facility only 1000 pilgrims can register online every hour while the temple is open for darshan.

The state police have given responsibility to take charge of this new system by which devotees from different parts of the country who register at the website of Kerala police would not have to wait for hours for darshan. There will be a separate queue at the sannidhanam for those who register online. The activation of the e-queue system would really help the senior citizens normally who have to stand more than 12-14 hours for darshan. This facility would really help people to save time and have darshan at their convenient time. Those who make booking online should have to show their identity proof to be allowed to stand on the separate queue. Every year millions of devotees from around the country, especially from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and other south Indian states use to visit Sabarimala for the darshan of Lord Ayyappa.

As the number of pilgrims is increasing every year, the government is trying to expand the infrastructure facilities. After the pilot project of the e-queue system had got wide publicity, devotees are interested to register for the facility. To get the advantage of the new system pilgrims after registering in the website have to reach Valiya Nadappanthal at the time allotted. At lower Tirumuttom, those who register online would be permitted to enter the general queue which will save a long time bypassing Valiya Nadappanthal.

• The calender as it appears click on the date you wish to book. A dialog box will appear with the word ‘Book Now’.

• Click submit. As the next page opens give your details.
• While giving the details, you will be asked to add a photo which has to be scanned and saved in the computer before filling the form.

• After the completion of the registration form, do click on the save and print.

Use the printed form while going to darshan in Sabarimala.
