The BlackBerry Bold 9790 is one of the latest smartphones in the BlackBerry Bold series from the Research In Motion. It has been launched in India now. The phone is also known as RIM BlackBerry Onyx III and RIM BlackBerry Bellagio.Features and Specifications
The BlackBerry Bold 9790 features a 2.45 inch capacitative touch screen display, having a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The TFT screen can support 16 million colours. The candybar phone's dimensions measure 110 x 60 x 11.4 mm. The phone weighs only about 107 grams. The Bold 9790 has a powerful 1 GHz MG1 Marvel Tavor processor. The phone runs on BlackBerry 7 Operating System. The Bold 9790 has a RAM of 768 MB. It has a full QWERTY keyboard for easy typing and an Optical trackpad.
The Blackberry Bold 9790 comes with a 5 Megapixel camera powered with LED Flash. The main features of the camera include Continuous auto focus, Image stabilization, Face detection, Digital zoom and Geo-tagging. The VGA Camcorder can record HD videos of resolution upto 640x480 pixels. Although, there is no secondary camera in the phone. The media player can support MP3, WMA, WAV, eAAC+, FLAC, MP4, H.264 and H.263 formats.
