Mazhavil Manorama Veruthe Alla Bharya Season 2 will start soon. The anchor of Veruthe Alla Bharya Season 2 is not known. The first season of Veruthe Alla Bharya concluded with the grand finale as Basil was declared as the winner. Basil and Suma got the grand prize worth 60 lakhs sponsored by Asset Homes. Vinod and Binu won 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively. Actor dileep was the special guest on the occasion.

After the grand success of Veruthe Alla Bharya in Mazhavil Manorama, the channel is up with the schedule of the season 2. Veruthe Alla Bharya Season 2 will feature 16 couples selected from 40 after an audition which concluded recently. The program which erected the curiosity in the initial days of its launch, took off a flying start becoming one of the favourite family shows in Malayalam television becoming a talk of malayalees families. Hosted by popular actress Swetha Menon, the program gave a constant rating due to its variety in presentation and tasks given to the participants. The first season of Veruthe Alla Bharya concluded with the grand finale held at at Marine Drive, Cochin on 29th April 2012 in which Basil was declared as the winner. Basil and Suma won the grand prize, a flat worth 60 lakhs sponsored by Asset Homes.

The curiosity to watch the program reached its zenith much after the elimination. The innovative addition of mind mapping was a new concept of malayalee audience. It is well known that the crew behind the program had put their best in making this program which had taken over by the audience keeping it close to their hearts. Before the closing of SMS voting Philip remained unbeaten getting 32% of the total votes followed by Binu.

But the final decision including the marks of the judges gave an upper hand for Basil who became the proud owner of the flat worth 60 lakhs. Binu & Simi came second winning a Volkswagen Polo car while Vinod and Sangeetha can beautify their home with home appliances worth 1.5 lakhs. Philip - Dolly, Promy – Nita and Godwin – Rexi pairs were not send bare handed, as they won consolations prize worth Rs 50,000.

The six couples along with popular artists gave an unforgettable night for the millions of viewers with their charismatic performance on the stage set at Marine Drive, Kochi.

The participants of the Veruthe Alla Bharya season 1 have left a lot of exciting moments for the viewers. The show will now go to the next phase with the new participants setting the stage for Veruthe Alla Bharya Season 2. 16 couples selected from 40 attended the audition will compete for a flat worth 75 lakhs sponsored by Cristal group.

It is also known that Nadiya Moidu, Manju Pillai and S.Sreekandan Nair will also be in the panel of judges for the next season.
