It is situated at Munnar in Idukki district.It is recognized by Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and is managed by the Center for Continuing Education Kerala (CCEK). Presently the college of Engineering Munnar offer two Post Graduate Courses and four B.Tech Engineering Degree courses.

College of Engineering Munnar is one of the emerging colleges in Kerala situated at Munnar in Idukki district. College of Engineering Munnar is an Institute of higher learning established by Government of Kerala in 2001. The college is recognized by Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and is managed by the Center for Continuing Education Kerala (CCEK). Sprawled in 26 Acres in the Kannan Devan Hills, just one kilometer from Munnar town. The campus attracts students from all over the country and guarantees a better education here. With in a short span of time college itself established as one of the leading institution in Kerala. Presently College of Engineering Munnar offer two Post Graduate Courses and four B.Tech Engineering Degree courses. Courses offered by the college

Computing Facilities:The college assures well equipped and advanced computing facilities with high end system and printers for the need of each and every student. It has around 200 PCs, three HCL Infiniti Globalize Server and has all the licensed software's required for engineering and scientific applications. High speed internet of 2 mbps is also coupled with the computing centre. All students can access their data at any time from morning 8.00 to evening 6.00.
Central library and Information centre:The college provide well equipped and computerized library, which has above 11,000 volumes and 3200 titles of various latest editions of Text books, 200 volumes of magazines, and 1000 Numbers of CD'S. It has around 3200 reference titles. A spacious reading room is also provided with in the central library. For the quick access and easy retrieval all the books are arranged in an ordered and subject wise manner. Students can avail this facilities from 8.am to 6.pm.
Hostel:The college of Engineering Munnar provide well equipped and seperate hostel facilities for both girls and girls. Delicious mess is also provided in the hostel itself. Seperate hostel are provided to accommodate the first year students. Admission to college does not automatically entitle a student to claim hostel accommodation.
Industry - Institute Interaction Cell:An Industry - Institution cell is functioning in the college campus to facilitate greater collaboration of the institution with the neighboring industrial establishments. Continuing education programmes for working professionals are also arranged here. Expertise available in the industry is utilized for the benefits of the faculties and students.
Group Advisory System:Group advisory system is provided in the college for the guidance of students. Immediately after admission to the college, each student is assigned to a staff member to file the personal details of students and to give advice and guidance in all curricular and extra curricular matters during his course in the college.
Training and placement cell:A training and placement cell is formed in the college which is working as a team under the leadership of the coordinator, committee members of each department and a batch of dedicated students with a view to choosing career, facing interviews, preparing resumes and placing properly. The Training and Placement Cell arranges periodic training and personality development programs. It has its own library with a vast number of general and competitive books.
General store:The college have a general store where text books, instruments, textiles and other stationeries needed for the students as well as staffs are available.
Transportation Facility: The college provide transportation facilities for the students as well the staff members. They are playing through the veins and arteries of Munnar town and reach up to the hostels of the students and staff where they are put in.
Canteen The college canteen is functioning in the campus under a governing committee consisting of representatives from staff and students. It is run on a contract basis. All the delicious Indian food are provided in the college canteen at a subsidized rate.
Reprographic center:Reprographic center is functioning within the College Library where the students can take Xerox of Text books, Reference books, Magazines, Question Papers for the academic purpose at a reduced rate.
Telephone Booth:A BSNL coin Booth is available in the College Campus.
Recreation:The college provide facilities to promote the artistic talents of the students. Sports and games are also arranged with the help and cooperation of the Athletic committee constituted by the Principal.Transportation:
