Vinod Sukumaran, the director of national award film 'Diary of a Housewife' is gearing up to enter the big league with his debutant project. The movie titled 'Haram' which comes with the tag line – Celebrations of Life' features Fahadh Faasil and Radhika Apte in lead. Fahadh plays Balu, a charming youngster.
Radhika Apte will be making her debut in malayalam with 'Haram'. Sreekumar, Madhupal, Seenath, Binoy, Rajshri Deshpande and Sagarika will give life to other prominent characters in the movie. 'Haram' is being produced by P. Sukumar and Saji Samuel under the banner of Odd Impressions & Big leaf.
The music for the movie is being set by Thaikkudam Bridge and background score would be safe in the hands of Govind Menon. Vinod will be introducing Sagarika who plays the character Gargi in the movie. Satish Kurup handles the cinematography 'Haram'. Vinod is a well skilled youngster who has worked as an editor with popular filmmakers like Mahesh Bhatt, Subhash Ghai and Sudhir Mishra.
Being the most respected director of the National Award winning film 'Diary of a Housewife', Vinod has won the award for Best Editor in Kerala State Film Awards of 2007 for his grandoise work in the movie 'Ore Kadal'. Movie enthusiasts have already experienced the visual treat from his editing table is truly waiting to watch the delight offered by the young filmmaker.
Radhika Apte was much impressed with the script for its realistic urban romance. She has already mesmerized the audience with her acting brilliance in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil and other feature films. Radhika plays Ameena while Sreekumar will be seen in the character role of Salaam. Fahadh's next release 'Iyobinte Pusthakam' will reach theatres on 7th November.
He has also signed a bunch of movies including 'Vambathy', 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram', 'Maniyarayile Jinnu' 'Cartoon', 'Sivaganga Factory' and few other untitled projects.
