Pookot Lake is a natural fresh water lake which nestles in the lap of evergreen mountains surrounding it.This breathtaking beauty is located 3 km from south of Vythiri town, near Lakkidi.A fresh water aquarium with a nice collection of wide varieties of fishes and a green house close to Pookot lake add to this real beauty. This fresh-water aquarium filled with an excellent array of fishes is a major attraction for tourists on their tour to Pookot Lake. Kuruvadweep :
Kuruvadwep is a beautiful island, stretching for 950 acres on the banks of the Kabani River.Kuruvadweep is located 17 km from Mananthavady and is very close to Pakshipathalam,
Chembra Peak :
The highest peak in Wayanad,Chembra peak is at a height of 2100m above sea level. It is located 14 km west of Kalpetta.

Thirunelli Festival :This is a two day annual festival of Sree Thirunelli
Devaswom. This is held in April
Valliyoorkkavu Festival :the annual festival of Goddess Bhagavathy. This is
held in March.
