Although 'Shobharaj' is the remake of 'Don', it differ slightly in the story thread. This is the story of Shobharaj, who is an underworld don. The DSP is always behind Shobharaj to tackle him. At last, he gets a chance and winds him. But, Shobharaj was died under the custody of DSP. This makes problems to DSP. He hides this fact and accidentally he meets Raj who looks exactly as Shobharaj. Actually Raj is Shobharaj's brother. They were parted in their childhood itself.
The DSP asks Raj to act like Shobharaj so that he can tackle the whole gang of Shobharaj. Raj has been looking some children. He accepts the proposal with a condition that DSP should provide his children with good education. The story gets into a new turn when the DSP dies. Raj falls into a new state of problem. He has to face the haunting from the Police and wants his identity back. The only person who knew the real identity of Raj was the DSP.
