It is very happy to see one of the great talent of Indian cinema Shri Santhosh Sivan as a director of the Malayalam film Urumi. He is a pure Malayali belongs to Thiruvananthapuram who have received 5 National Awards for his cinematography works. He is returning back to Malayalam film Industry after his film Ananthabhadram released in 2005. Once again he is coming with the young super hero Prithviraj, but with an entirely different role as Kelu Nayanar in the film Urumi.
Here Santhosh Sivan comes with an epic story or a historical theme which was happened in the 17th century. The film tells the story of Kelu Nayanar's fight against Vasco De Gama. Santhosh Sivan comes as a pure director in the film Urumi rather going for cinematography works. Santhosh Sivan is also one among the producers of the film along with Prithviraj and Shaji Natesan. It is Santhosh Sivan once again as a director after the super hit, commercial success movies like Tahaan and before the Rains. Kerala film fans can certainly expect a stunner from Santhosh Sivan in Urumi.
