Orma Mathram Malayalam Movie Review: First Day Theater reports

The new Movie from Janapriyanayakan Dileep hits the theaters of Kerala Today with an average opening. The movie released in about theaters all across the state is getting an above average reports from the first day viewers. The FDFS Review of the movie makes it clear that the movie is not a cup of tea for everyone. According to the the First day reports for the film Orma Mathram, the movie is mainly trying to portray the mentality of parents who lost their child.The movie also discussed about serious issues like Child Labour, Abortion and Terrorism. But the problem with the movie is its technical department which often fails to evoke any fresh look to the whole film(although the movie is a serious one) and always reminds us old movies. On the positive sides, all the actors in the film scored well. Dileep did a wonderful job as the helpless father and husband and proves that he can do these type of charcters too. The national award winning actress priyanka coming with another good performance in this movie as the wife of Dileep, but the man(!) steals the show is Master Sidharth who will simply remind in your mind even you leave the theaters. Other actors like Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Salim Kumar and Dhanya Mary Varghese did their small roles with convinction.

The script from C.V. Balakrishnan is average, but dealts with many socially releveant issues. The direction is OK, also the editing, as most part of the film dragged. The songs from Kaithapram Team is mostly suited to the film.

The chances are rare to succeed these type of films in the box office. If you are a regular moviegoer, you can watch this movie for its serious theme and socially relevant message.
