Travelling Children’s Film Fest Starting on 14 September 2011

Travelling Children's Film Fest Starting on 14 September 2011 at Thiruvananthapuram
The first travelling children's film festival in Kerala state will be starting on 14 September 2011 at Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala state, India. Starting from Thiruvananthapuram, this festival moves to Kannur & Thrissur & covers almost 46 schools. This will lasts till 14 October 2011.
It should be noted that this event is organized by the Kerala Chalachithra Academy in association with the Children's Film Society of India & the Directorate of Public Instruction, Kerala Government etc.
Altogether there will be 12 films. These films will be shown to the students of high school in the selected schools of 14 districts of our God's own country. The 12 films include award winning works like Sunday, Halo, Chhota Sipahi, Malli, films directed by famous directors like Santhosh Sivan & Virendra Saini, films produced by the Children's Film Society of India etc.
Before each screening the films will be introduced to the children & afterwards they will be encouraged to take part in discussions.
