A bomb blast in paanur in Kannur today has injured two children. The condition of one child is critical.
The incident happened at Elemkode near Vaidyarupadi. The incident happened just hours before Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy's visit to Thalaserry today.
The injured students were identified as Anjas(13) son of Abdul Khadar and Sinas(11) son of Abu Bekker. The condition of Anjas is very critical.
As the children were returning from prayers in the Madrasa in the morning, few people who came in an Auto, throw bomb at them. It's reported that it was an ice cream ball bomb.
For quite few days there had been violence happening between SDPI and BJP in the place. Yesterday there had been bomb attack over few houses.
