Rajya Rani Express Train From Nilambur to Trivandram

Need a Train to the capital city of kerala, it was a dream. The local people made this proposal many years back. They are meet minsters MLAs MPs and southern railway officers for this need. Finally in the last railway budget Smt.Mamatha Banarji announced the train named Rajya Rani express;from Nilambur to Trivandram through Shornaur . And on the 23rd day of the October 2011 the tain will be on the track.

The train has 6 compartments including one three tier AC,one sleeper coach and three general compartments.At Shoranur railway station the train will be connected to the Amrita express and continue the journey to Trivandram.

The daily train starts from Nilambur at 8.45PM,will be reach Trivandram at next day morning 6.20. The train number is 16350. In between Nilambur and Shornur it has 5 halts, they are Vaniyambalam(9 PM),Melattur(9.25 PM), Pattikkad(9.35 PM), Angadippuram(9.45 PM) and Cherukara(9.53 PM).

The train Starts from Trivandram at 10.30 PM and reach on 7.30 in the next morning at Nilambur. 16349 is the train number. The train arrives on 5.30 AM at Shoranur and Departure is scheduled at 5.45 AM. On the way to Nilambur train halts; Cherukara(6.05 AM),Angadippuram(6.15 AM), Pattikkad(6.24 AM), Melattur(6.34AM) and Vaniyambalam(7.00 AM).

On the 23rd October train will be inaugurate its journey. The inauguration ceremony will be held at Nilambur Railway station. Union minister for Railways Mr.Dinesh Trivedi will wave the green flag. Union minister E.Ahamed(Has a major role in allotting the train) and many leaders will attend the function.
