Mathrubhumi Book Fest 2011 from October 1-10


Mathrubhumi book fest starts on 1st October 2011 . Language and literature lovers like this fest because of the special collection of various books. The variety collection of books is the main attraction of this book fest. The venue is Chandrashekharan Nair Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram.

2011 Mathrubhumi book fest will start on October 1st onwards. The fest will be inaugurated by Minister V.S. Sivakumar on Chandrashekharan Nair Stadium, Thiruvanathapuram. Sahithya Academy Chairman Perumbadavam Sreedharan will lead the function. On this event on Saturday former President A.P.J. Abdul Khalam's book 'Spirit of India's' translated version named "Indiayude Chaithanyam" will be publish. The translation was written by N. Sreekumar.

Mathrubhumi book fest is always get importance with the varieties of books exhibit in the fair. Books apart from Mathrubhumi books are also in the display. A collection of English literature books will be also exhibit there. Above 50000 books will be exhibited. Through this kind of book fests Mathrubhumi take a key role in improve reading habit in new generation.

In this year special attraction will be the exhibition of N. P. Veerendrakumar's 'Hymavathabhoovil', Benyam's 'Aadujeevitham' and the special collection of K.P. Keshavamenon's books. Religious books, stories, poetry, child literature, spiritual books etc will exhibit in the fest. These books will sell in a discounted price. People can visit the fair between 10am to 8pm. The fest ends on October 10th.
