National Seminar on 'Ayurveda in 21st century' at AVS, Kottakkal on 16 October 2011
On 16 October 2011, a national seminar on Ayurveda in 21st century will be held at Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal, Kozhikode. The importance of this national seminar is that experts from different parts of our country will be attending it. Some important persons are Dr P. Ram Manohar, Dr K. Haridasan, Prof K. Satyamurthy, Dr P. M. Varrier, Dr Ramesh Babu Devalla etc. The event will be inaugurated by Dr R Chidambaram, the scientific advisor of India government & the function will be presided by Dr Ashok B Vaidya, research director of Mumbai Kasturba Health Society. As part of Dr P. K. Warrier navati celebrations, Dr M. S. Valiyathan, chairman of Ayurveda biology task force , will deliver the navati oration at this event.
This national seminar will be a suitable platform for students as well as professionals in the field of Ayurveda to interact with those experts in the respective fields. Apart from this, there will be presentation of awards like P. M. Varier Gold Medal & P. S. Varier prize for those students in the field of Ayurveda.
