Entries are invited for the SCRIPT (Social and Corporate Responsibility International Promotional Theatre) 2012 film festival, which is an initiative of Rotary International District 3201. This is a film festival that entertains documentaries & short films with social relevance only. The film festival has been approved by the Public Service Broadcasting Trust & the Indian Documentary Producers Association. An important feature of this SCRIPT 2012 film fest is that it is registered with the International Film & Festival Organization. Another fact is that SCRIPT 2012 film fest is organized by the Rotary Club of Cochin Metropolis & will be held at Kochi on 2012 January 20-21. The aim of this SCRIPT 2012 film fest is to use the proceeds to develop a village named Kothad into a disciplined state & to make it free from alcohol as well as drugs.

General instruction
In order to submit short films for SCRIPT 2012 film fest, it can be made by media schools, students, social activists, governmental or non-governmental agencies, voluntary organizations, productions houses, individual international as well as Indian film makers.

SCRIPT 2012 film fest: Its categories & prizes
There are 5 categories for the SCRIPT 2012 film fest. They are film makers, students, international, documentaries & mini/ad films having a social message (duration is 2 minutes). For all categories, Rs 25000 will be the first prize & Rs 15000 will be the second prize with a golden halo award. The multi member jury will be headed by actress Revathy. The SCRIPT 2012 film fest will be free for both audiences & film makers.
