After the gap of seven years, Priyadarshan is all set to release a Malayalam film, that too with Superstar Mohanlal. His new flick Arabiyum Ottakavum P Madhavan Nairum or Oru Marubhoomi Katha is ready to hit the screens on November 4th. It's the first time a Malayalam film is getting released in two names. Though, the original title was Arabiyum Ottakavum P Madhavan Nairum, it had to be changed after the demur of Gulf Malayalees. The Gulf residents were afraid of Arab backlashes due to the satirical elements in the film on the treatment of employees. The film will be released in Gulf as 'Oru Marubhoomi Katha' whereas both names will be in use in India. Priyadarshan's last Malayalam film was the Dileep starrer 'Vettom' in 2004. Kilichundan Mampazham was the last with Mohanlal. The film will also see a revival of Mohanlal-Mukesh-Priyadarshan team. The film has been shot at Abu Dhabi, London and the Ramoji Rao film city. Though Priyadarshan was not generous to reveal the plot, the film has been reported to be a Comedy Crime thriller iced with Satirical elements. The film has Lakshmi Rai and Bhavana in female leads. Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor is doing a pivotal role, as the Arab. The cast also includes Innocent, Nedumudi Venu and Mamukkoya. The Canadian film director James Cameron had visited the shooting location and had had a long conversation with Priyadarshan, Mohanlal and the rest of the crew, while they were shooting in the Abudhabi deserts. It increased the news value of the film.
