'Makaravilakku', one among the popular festival celebrated in Sabarimala attracts lots of visitors to this destination. During Makaravilakku season, ornaments of Lord Ayyappa is preserved here. Visitors can also see a procession carrying these ornaments from Pandalam to Sabarimala. Tourists can easily reach this destination by travelling through Chengannur.
