Matsya Kanyaka Sculpture
One of the major attractions of Shanghumugham Beach is a 35 m long sculpture of a mermaid, known as Matsya Kanyaka or 'Nymph' Jalakanyaka. It was created by well known sculptor Sri Kanai Kunjuraman.
