C.K Shyla wins 50 lakhs in Ningalkkum Akam Kodeshwaran

Ningalkkum Akam Kodeshwaran, inspired from the world famous 'You can be a millionaire' game show is telecast on Asianet from Monday to Thursday at 8 PM. Ningalkkum Akam Kodeshwaran anchored by actor Suresh Gopi is a quiz based game show where participants in the hot seat are asked multiple choice questions who can earn money by answering each question. A number of participants who were lucky to be in the hot seat have won grand sum of money, which they might have thought only in their dreams. Among them who could make dream come true was C.K Shaila who hails from Thodupuzha. Shyla won Rs 50 lakhs, which is biggest cash prize ever given to a participant in the Ningalkkum Akam Kodeshwaran game show. Shyla who was aided by her husband Shahul Hamid witnessed the thrilling movement live before his eyes. Suresh Gopi got really excited while announcing the grand prize and handing over the cheque worth 50 lakhs to Shyla.




Shyla who works as a clerk in the Chithirapuram primary health centre lives along with her husband Shahul Hamid and two sons Shine and Shamnad. As they didn't have a house of their own, they were staying in a quarters. Shyla came to participate in the game show with lot of dreams which still remained accomplished. Shahul Hamid a worker in the Malankara dam got himself hurt as he fell down while on work and is currently under treatment. As he could not continue his work, Shyla became the back bone of the family whose sole earning compelled them to live forward. She went to work in the estate and meanwhile started preparing for PSC exams too. After 13 questions excitement was on the face of Shyla and the audience who were keen to hear the 14th question. It was - From the following whose name was not associated with a national park till 2011? Options were Valmiki, Deva Vyasan, Rajagopalachari, Sanjay Gandhi. The correct answer was Deva Vyasan.

Anyhow, the determination of Shyla to participate in the game show has landed her in the midst of wealth which will give a lot of support for the family. Thus Shaila becomes the first contestant to answer 14 questions out of 15 and win 50 lakhs. Her interest is to buy a plot and have a house of own.
