The main focus of 'Veendum Kannur' is to bring out a political change in the Kannur district of Kerala. It also tries to make a positive change in the political scenario in the present Kerala and also to give a reformation in the minds of viewers against the violent politics, especially in Kannur.
The movie Veendum Kannur will surely give us goosebumps as a political thriller. The main concept of the story is the sols fight of the hero against the corrupted political leaders in Kerala. He tries to make reformations in the present political scenario. The story mainly deals with the armchair activism which is taking place over the social networking sites. The shooting of the movie had been done in the northern parts of kerala. Anoop Nenon has done the character role of Jayakrishnan as the son of a good leftist leader. This nature of the son Jayakrishnan makes a confrontation with his father.
This movie is good enough for teenagers as their are some space for love and romance. Aishwarya muraleedharan has characterized the role of Sandhya whose father is also a politician. Jayakrishnan fall in love with Sandya. This makes some twist and turns in the story as the film progresses. This induces a huge rivalry between the father and the son. Director Haridas Kesavan could not bring many elements in this movie which the viewers demand. The story and the characters have no sync with the movie. So the film seems to be bit weird. The director has not yet made an effort to bring out any of the acting qualities of Anoop Menon. The film did not meet the expectations of the audience.
