After running high with 'Trivandrum Lodge' and gearing up for the release of Poppins, V K Prakash could not keep a leap forward from helming the shoot of his new project with Fahadh Fazil titled as 'Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla' to be translated to English as 'Anchovy is a not a small fish'.
'Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla' revolves around Narendan a freaky young guy. The highlight of the movie will be Fahadh Fazil's double appearance. Unlike other malayalam movies, the theme of Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla doesn't carry any conventional story telling method.
Scripted by Shankar Ramakrishnan, the movie will be a triangular love story with Kamalini Mukherjee playing the heroine. Shankar Ramakrishnan who had been working with V K Prakash for the past 12 year finds the script to be the best gift he could present to his master. Known for his majestic script work for Urumi, Shankar has proved to be a good actor too getting involved in a couple of projects including 'Poppins' directed by V K P himself.
The theme of 'Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla' is extracted from V K Prakash's 2003 bollywood movie 'Freaky Chakra' which had won the 2003 FIPRSCI prize at Mumbai International Film Festival. The movie got a wide range of applause from viewers for its extraordinary treatment combining emotions and aspirations which touched hearts. The director was given much praise for the use of film language in rich and innovative way. Likewise 'Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla' truly speaks about the relationship of four persons which combines to form a triangular love story.

It would be a real comeback for Aishwarya packed in a modern outfit. Aiswarya who had appeared in Jackpot, Butterflies, Narasimham will be seen in a powerful character which is much needed for the movie.
The camera will be cranked by Arun James while Abijijith will render music for the lyrics of Anu Elizabeth JoseThomas who had made name for being the backbone of the lyrics of 'Thattathin Marayathu'. The movie is being produced by Saji Medayil, Joe Kaithamattom and Christy Kaithamattom under Good Companies & Angel Works in association with Trends Ad Film Makers (p) Ltd. The shooting of the movie which started a couple of days ago will be competed at various locations in Aluva and Kochi. Having an early wrap up the movie is set to get released on 18th January 2013.
