Bollywood unites to sing for R A Shafeer's tunes
Samrajyam 2 – Son of Alexander songs will be special for music lovers with the presence of leading bollywood singers Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sadhana Sargam and Kumar Sanu lending their voice for the tunes set by R A Shafeer. Being the most anticipated malayalam movie in 2013, Samrajyam 2 – Son of Alexander would be a visual treat embedded with tunes soothing for ears.
Samrajyam 2, an upcoming malayalam movie had been creating curiosity among the movie fans from the day of announcing the project. With a total budget of 25 crores, Samrajyam 2 – Son of Alexander will truly be a visual treat for the young audience. The shooting of the movie will be carried out in exotic locations including Spain.
The movie had been in news ever since the project was announced. Singer Shaan hinted the arrival of bollywood who sung the title song. Along with the leading malayalam singers and Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sadhana Sargam and Kumar Sanu will lend their voice to grace the movie. The high explosive talented singers will sing for the tunes set by R.A. Shafeer while the lyrics would be penned by Sharath Vayalar.
Being a big budget movie, the producers, Ajmal Hassan and Byju Adithyan had given much freedom to the musician to bring the best voices which eventually brought the top bollywood singers onto a single platform. The title song sung by Shaan had earlier created ripples with truly propagating the arrival of the hero, Jordan.
Shafeer had tried to give songs that match the range of the singers. There are five songs in the movie in which a club song would be safe in the hands of Sunidhi Chauhan while Kumar Sanu will move his lips for a western style song. A romantic melody based on Kalyaani raga with the voice of Sandhana Sargam will soothe the ears. Lekha Ajay, a professional singer well known as the anchor of Melody Bites aired in Kairali TV had also been a part of the project sharing voice with music legend Kumar Sanu. The recording of Samrajyam 2 songs was carried out at Rudra digital studio Mumbai.
Shafeer who had proved his mettle working for several albums and jingles is well associated with music maestro A. R Rehman's sisters. Popular play back singers K.J Yesudas, Sujatha, Rimi Tomy, Vineeth Sreenivasan and many others had sung to the tunes set by Shafeer.
