Unni Mukundan to don as Jordan in Samrajyam 2- Son of Alexander

It happens only once in a while; just saying about the scintillating red carpet show held to unveil the hero of a movie. Giving an edge to the path breaking changes happening in malayalam movie industry, the makers of Samrajyam 2 – Son of Alexander put in hold the suspense keeping the fans nailed for months. After creating a huge buzz and a guess play with hero's name, the Samrajyam 2 team has officially announced. It was a mouth watering hours for those who attended the function. Khadar Hassan (Vijayaraghavan) who arrived in Limousine opened the door for Unni Mukundan who is to don as 'Jordan' – Son of Alexander.

Being a sequel of Samrajyam which hit screen 22 years ago, the title role would be the most challenging part the actor has yet committed.

Earlier the names of Allu Arjun, Dulquer Salmaan and Prithviraj Sukumaran were much buzzed connected with the movie, but now its Unni Mukundan who got the true merit of being a part of the project which is expected to rise his career graph up. To be directed by Perarasu who gave an action hero status to Vijay through the movie Thiruppachi, the movie will have eminent personalities on and behind the screen. Vijayaraghavan, Arjun, Manoj.K.Jayan, Biju Menon, Suraj Venjaramood and Baburaj will give life to prominent characters in the film.

Samrajyam 2 will be produced by Byju Adithyan and Ajmal Hassan under Godson Films and Adheena Films. Boosting of having the presence of Chandramukhi movie fame Shekar V Joseph to crank the camera, the back ground score will be set by music maestro Ilayaraja. For the lyrics of Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma debutant R A Shafeer will tune songs. The script of this underworld don based action thriller is from MSK (Muhammad Shafeeque Koonunggal).
