Kerala Assembly Election
All Keralites are getting ready to poll their vote to their candidate for the 2011 Kerala Legislative Assembly Election which is scheduled on 13th April. All political parties are building up their strategies to capture maximum votes to their account. The Medias have started taking the opinion poll. So the entire state is busy due to the coming state legislative assembly election. Most of the parties have announced the list of the candidates for different constituencies appearing for the 2011 assembly election.
Candidates of LDF and their constituency
Left Democratic Front (LDF) is one of the two major alliances in Kerala. LDF is led by the Communist Party (Marxist). The various parties in LDF are Communist Party of India-Marxist CPI(M), CPI, Janata Dal-Secular, Revolutionary Socialist Party, Nationalist Congress Party, Kerala Congress (P C Thomas), Indian National League and Congress-S. The seat distribution and the name of the candidate appearing from each party has been announced. Out of the 140 seats, CPI (M) will competate in 93 seats. 27 seats are given to CPI, 4 seats for Revolutionary party, 4 seats each for revolutionary party and National congress party, 3 seats each for Kerala Congress(PC Thomas) and Indian National League and 1 seat for Congress S. The LDF has starts their campaign for the election. The current chief minister of Kerala, V S Achuthanathan is competating in the Malampuzha constituency.
