Swapna Menon on cloud nine with 'Teens'

Malayalam movie industry had been the stepping stone for many actors and technicians who had given their heart to work with pride. Many youngsters keeping passion over films found themselves comfortable with the industry. Taking the last few years, there had been a flow of young talents into the arena who keep their shoulders and dreams high.

A number of actors too got handful of opportunities to show their skill on screen which gave them ample space to be a part of other new ventures too. Spreading the wings 'Swapna Menon' who was looking forward for a break landed in a grandiose project headed by Jahangir Shamzuddin titled 'Teens'.

Written and directed by Jahangir Shams, Teens is having a long line of youngsters - Sajith Raj, Divyadarshan, Madhupal, Sonia, Kalasala Babu, Sathar, Ganapathy and Niyas Bakker gearing up to enthrall the viewers. The movie which is produced by Surf Net Movies shares a colourfull campus story which revolves around the life of few teenagers. Roy Divyadarshan and Vivek (Sajith Raj) two close friends are pursuing their degree in engineering at St Rose College of Engineering. Vivek is known among his friend circle as 'Member' being the son of an ex-MLA.

Sruthi Menon (Swapna), a first year graduate had got fascinated by the acts that happen in the campus. Vivek finds friendship with Sruthi and later their relationship had become the talk of the campus. Mercy Chacko (Sonia) a fourth year student is a fun-loving character who keeps the story rolling.

Swapna Menon who started her acting career with 'Mantrikan' directed by Anil had done character roles in 'Hide N Seek' and 'Scene 1 Namude Veedu'. 'Teens' would bring Swapna as heroine along with Sonia. Giving high regards to education, Swapna, a native of Palakkad is is currently pursuing her studies in BMM (Journalism and Advertising) while settled in Mumbai. Meanwhile Swapna who keeps lofty dreams about her film career, wants to get associated with prolific endeavors in future.
