She feared to do the role of Silk Smita because the role needs to be more glamorous and exposed. However she decided to do the role of Silk Smita in Malayalam movie "Climax" after hearing the story. The producer P.J Thomas and story writer Antony Eastman have promised her the movie "Climax" will be portraying the real life of Silk Smitha and the movie will not be like "Dirty Picture". They also added that, as the movie is made in Malayalam, there will be no need to have over glamorous scenes. Sana Khan has already appeared in many Tamil and Telugu movies, however the Malayalam movie "Climax" has given her a central heroine role for the first time in her career. According to her, the role in the upcoming movie "Climax" is the most powerful character in her filmy career.

The movie "Climax" portraying the real life of Silk Smita represents a natural girl who trusts everyone and whatever they said. Sana Khan hopes she had been doing well to make her role better, however the final decision will be made by the viewers. Newbie Subin Sanny has casted in the male lead of the movie "Climax" produced by P.J Thomas under the banner Nice Movies. Suresh Krishna, Aravind, Bijukuttan, Tamil actor RaviKanthan, Thilak, E A Rajendran, etc are also casted in supporting roles of Malayalam movie "Climax". Kaloor Dennis has penned the script of the most anticipated Malayalam movie "Climax" in 2013. Beny Ignatius has composed the tunes for the lyrics penned by Vayalar Sharath Chandravarma and Santhosh Varma. Shooting of the movie "Climax" is carried out in Chennai, Kochi, Coimbatore, and Thodupuzha.
