Kashmir: It’s Jayaram, not Mohanlal in Joshiy’s mega budget movie
Kashmir malayalam movie directed by Joshiy will Jayram in lead. There were reports that, after mega Run Babby Run and Lokpal, Mohanlal is also joining with Joshy for yet another big budget movie set at the backdrops of Kashmir. Scripted by Sethu, the movie will be an action thriller adding all essence to keep the audience intact.
As a film maker, Joshiy is known for his excellence behind the camera who had created mass movie leaving no time for the viewers to move from the seats. Run Babby Run proved to be a better movie gaining an aggressive box office collection. Even though their next veture Lokpal failed to impress the audience, the team is yet again teaming up for an action thriller scripted by Sethu. Titled as ‘Kashmir' the central character will be played by Jayaram who was lastly seen Joshiy's Twenty Twenty (20-20).
Early there were romours about the presence of Mohanlal in the full length military movie, but now it is known that the actor is not a part of the project. Riding high on his 25 years of successful journey in the film industry, Jayaram will be seen in a several movies which are under production. Recently, he was seen in box office hit Thuppakki in which he played the role of an army captain which hooked up the audience. ‘Kashmir' is not only an action movie but has elements of homour too.
It would be Jayaram's third outing with Joshiy after being a part of movie like Dhruvam and Twenty Twenty. After Keerthi Chakra, this movie would again bring Mohanlal as a a person dedicated towards the Army. Kashmir is based on the life of the army men who fight against terrorism in India. The major portion of the shooting will be carried out in Kashmir few shot set at Pak boarder and Kochi.
Joshiy is such a director with guts who has already proved his mettle behind the screen. When Jayaram and Joshiy joins together for a project, the expectations of the audience would be at the peak.
This entertainment thriller to be produced by Subair will start rolling from March 10. The casting of the movie is currently progressing with Amala Paul and Biju Menon reported to be a part of the mega project.
After making her presence in ‘Run Babby Run', Amala Paul will be back in malayalam as heroine through ‘Kashmir' while Biju Menon would aso don a prominent role.
Even though, a number of movies focusing on the Army had reached theatres, Kashmir would tell the tale connected with the life of the Army men struggling to protect the country from infiltrators. Joshiy who had helmed big ventures in the past is expected to keep the same spirit unveiling a new story which could be a visual treat and keep the viewers intact.
His upcoming movies include Bharya Athra Pora, Shaji N Karun's Sopanam and Kamal's next. Lucky Star, a full length entertainer with Jayaram in lead is set to release on 8th March.
