Sunil Raj who stepped into the film industry with 'Maanagara Sambhavam' is gearing up for his directorial debut in malayalam. Titled 'Seven Samurai', the movie is being produced by T C Issac under the banner I Andi Movie. Bijo, Munna, Mansha, Darshana in lead roles. Raveendran, Devan, Indrans, Kochupreman, Sunil, Talai Vasal Vijay, N C Mohanan, Rajiv Varma, Nelson, Rajesh, Madhu Airport, Rajmohan, Joseph Mullaserry, Vithika, Lakhsmi, Oormila Unni, Kanakalatha and Lakshmipriya will also be seen in prominent roles. Prasanna S Kumar would wield the camera.
'Seven Samurai' is said to a thriller coupled with all essence which would enthrall the audience who could get back complete entertainment for the money and time they invest.
The story and screenplay is by Sunil Raj himself who had done it for his previous venture 'Maanagara Sambhavam'. Veteran actor Raveendran who made a comeback through 'Idukki Gold' will be seen in an important role. This movie would open doors for Bijo, Munna, Mansha, Darshana and also to show their mettle on big screen. After the completion of pre production works, the shooting of 'Seven Samuari' is expected to start very soon.

Sunil Raj made a decent beginning with 'Maanagara Sambhavam' on an investigation connected with a Justice and his family. The disappearance of the Justice and his family members brought Siva, a young and aggressive Police Inspector onto the scene. Siva along with his friend Robin joins hands to trace out the truth behind the Missing of Justice and his family. The movie keeps the viewers intact as more interesting incidents take place by the end of the climax.
