Aamayum Muyalum: Priyadarshan's next with Jayasurya

Priyadarshan, the king of filmmaking in malayalam film industry has announced the details about his upcoming project. After the box office catastrophe 'Geethanjali', the ace film maker Priyadarshan has made a shift from his normal casting by in taking Jayasurya as hero. Titled 'Aamayum Muyalum', this comedy thriller would kick start from the first week of September.

Model Piya will be the lead heroine supported by Innocent, Nedumudi Venu, Harisree Ashokan and Maniyanpillai Raju would also be a part of this project. Singer-composer M G Sreekumar would handle the music department. Scripted by Priyadarshan himself, the movie is slated to release for this Christmas.

Jayasurya is on cloud nine after getting the lead role in his dream filmmaker's movie. The actor who wished to act in at least one scene in a movie directed by Priyadarshan is blessed to do the lead in his upcoming venture. He even feels proud and lucky to have bagged the role in 'Aamayum Muyalum'.

This fun thriller is expected to follow the lines of 'Thenmavin Kombathu', and will be a visual treat for the viewers. Priyadarshan was reportedly preparing a movie with Fahadh Fazil and Keerthi Suresh. Due to Fahad's tight schedule, the project got delayed.

While waiting for the release of movies like 'Appothecary' and 'Seconds', Jayasurya has signed for a couple of new ventures. He would play the lead hero in 'Lal Bahadur Shastri' and Aadu Oru Bheekarajeeviyanu' directed by debutant Midhum Manuel Thomas. Much is expected from the actor who has created his own space in the film industry with his hard work and dedication.

Priyadarshan who has made his name popular in bollywood has done his last outing in malayalam with 'Geethanjali' featuring Mohanlal, Nishan, Keerthy Suresh and Swapna Menon in lead. The popular filmmaker who has delivered a number of hits in malayalam is expected to deliver yet another interesting movie for moviegoers.
