Pinnacle School of Engineering and Technology (PSET) is one among the upcoming private self financing college in the long list of engineering colleges in Kerala owned and managed by 'Asthapathi Foundation' which came into act from 2009 onwards. The ultimate aim of the trust is to undertake some effective programs and projects to indulge the society by imparting expert engineers who could bring some serious changes. Pinnacle School of Engineering and Technology was established during 2013 under the affiliation of Kerala University and has the approval of 'All India Council for Technical Education' (AICTE), New Delhi. This college is situated in the attractive part of the state named Anchal which is 50 Km away from district headquarters and 10 Km distant from the nearest Punalur Railway station.
The management has poured great hardship behind this educational institution so as to bring it in on top. Present Principal post is crowned by 'Dr. P. G. Mathews'. The institution is geared up to confirm their presence in field of technical education in the state. Admissions to the college is strictly based on merit. The students should qualify in 'All Kerala Entrance Examination' and should also have 50% aggregate for mathematics, physics and chemistry for being eligible for B-Tech. Half of the seats availed are allotted as merit seats which is decided by the entrance commissioner through the entrance scores and remaining seats come under management quota. Reservations are also assigned and special seats for NRI's with appreciable cautions. Scholarships and fee concessions are provided by the college for students with academic excellence.Courses offered
1) B-Tech: Mechanical Engineering (ME- 60 seats) 
With the huge demand offered for mechanical engineering, the department shoots their best to attain glory. This is one among the oldest core branches which offers decent job opportunities. Students are trained in the proper manner with the guidance of the faculties in order to develop a great engineer in them. This branch deals with the production management of heat and even mechanical energies and has also a scope in designing some effective machines and tools. A total of 60 seats are available for this course.
2) B-Tech: Civil Engineering (CE- 60 seats)
Civil engineering is the oldest among all the core branches of engineering which offers top class opportunities. A total of 60 seats are available for this course. It deals with the structural designing, construction and maintenance works of each and every structures seen across the globe. The house in which we live, the roads and railway lines for transportation, bridges for passage, the dams, the drainages, all these structures have the sweat and hardship of several civil engineers. The institution pulled up their rope to filter the best engineers in town from the college. The management has great hold with the popular construction companies all round.
3) B-Tech: Electronics and Communication (EC- 60 seats)
Electronics and Communication is a sprouting branch which mainly deals with the electrical components works to design circuits, devices and systems so as to bring some unique and modern technologies to the world. It is observed that currently this field is having a negatively growing graph which results in serious fall in demand but even though the department manages to keep their excellence and bring out the best in them. 1) Central Library
Pinnacle School of Engineering and Technology is gifted with a fully equipped library with all sorts of books for engineering students to refer along with other allied subjects. The ultimate purpose of allotting these books along with magazines and journals is to develop in education and also to improve reading habits and vocabulary skills. Students can take their desired books at any time for a due course of time. All late submissions are penalized and will rise day by day. The college is proud to set such a spectacular library for their students and it will help them a lot in future.
2) Hostel facilities
College provides separate accommodation for boys and girls with all possible basic requirements and help from assigned wardens. Students will love the attractive and calm surrounding along with the scenic beauty which could drive them to their dream land. They will also feel as if they are with their parents as such great care is showered upon the students by the warden and staff members. Hostel fees are manageable and a total of 100 accommodations are available in which 60 are for boys and 40 are for girls. Both vegetarian and non- vegetarian food items are being provided.
3) Transportation facilities 
College buses are arranged to almost every roots nearby thus helping students to be there in time. Staffs and co-workers will always back up the students to be discipline and manage time effectively. College bus fair is affordable and fee deduction are provided for eligible groups who has way more better opportunities.
