About The College
Aryanet Institute of Technology (AIET), Mundur, Palakkad is one among the premium engineering colleges in Kerala. The college which is established in the year 2012 is a private self financial technical institution affiliated to Calicut University and has the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Aryanet Institute of Technology is founded and managed by Aryanet Trust Palakkad which is established in the year 2010. Even though the college was established in 2012, it gained outstanding achievements in the past two years and now outshining other similar institutions. The campus which sprawled across 12.30 acres of land with a built up area of nearly 15000 Sq. m is situated at Mundur in Palakkad district and is 15 km from the district head quarters. The nearest railway station 'Palghat Junction', which is situated 15 km from the college.
Dr M R Vikraman, an experienced person is the present principle of AIT. Experienced and competent faculties, whose excellent teaching with modern teaching tools and methods patronize the student to excel in their chosen area. All faculty members here are the post graduates add to the achievements of the college. In addition to academics, college give emphasis on co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The mode of admission in Aryanet Institute of Technology is strictly based on merit. Presently college offer 5 B.Tech degree courses with an intake of 60 students in each. 50% of the total is filled on the basis of allotment from MG University and the remaining are on the management and NRI quota. The eligibility criteria for the admission to AIT is a pass with a minimum of 50% aggregate for the subject such as physics, chemistry, mathematics and computer science. Attractive scholarship will be provided to students based on marks scored in qualifying examination and entrance rank. Courses Offered
1) B.Tech in Civil Engineering - 60 seats: This course have great demand all over. A civil engineer determines or build the quality of a nation. With creativity and technical skills, they plan, design and construct the essential modern facilities required for the development of a nation. The world needed the skill of civil engineer in many of the areas such as transportation, environment, water resources, construction, geotechnical and a lot more. Hence the job opportunities are endless for this course. 2) B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - 60 seats: A Mechanical Engineer faces the challenge of designing, manufacturing and operating different machines that are beneficial to the mankind in reducing their hardness of work. The skill of mechanical engineer have become increasingly important in areas such as industrial engineering, material manufacturing engineering, mechatronics, power etc. Aryanet institute of technology offer a total of 60 seats for the department mechanical engineering with most modern lab facilities.
3) B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering - 60 seats: We know that now its eon of computers. Even though computer science is a new branch, it has come a long way providing vast job and placement opportunities . This course mainly deals with computers and its applications. AIT provide a total of 60 seats for the department of computer science and engineering along with a set efficient, permanent and dedicated faculties.
4) B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering - 60 seats: This is also a new branch in the field of engineering, now grown up with the level of other branches with its huge demand in the present world. The major areas of electronics and communication engineering include computer vision, instrumentation, biomedical signal processing, image processing etc. Presently 60 seats are avail in the college for this department. Modern lab facilities with most modern equipments are furnished for the students for their better education.
5) B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics - 60 seats: Electrical and Electronics engineering is one among the core branches of engineering and it is one of the oldest branches of engineering. Most of the technologies that we make use of are the contributions of Electrical and Electronics engineers. This core branch mainly deals with designing, manufacturing and operation of different electrical and electronic equipments. 60 seats are avail in the college for the department of Electrical and Electronics engineering. Hostel: Aryanet Institute of Technology provide well equipped hostel facilities for boys and girls. Both the hostels can accommodate 60 students and are under the maintains of caring wardens. Mr. Ravichandran V is in the position of warden of boys and Mrs. Raji for girls. Here students can avail vegetarian and non vegetarian messes. For admission to the hostel, all students should pay the caution deposit given by the college.
Library: Library is essential as far as considering an engineering college. Now most of the new colleges have lack of library facilities. Aryanet Institute of Technology provide well equipped and most modern library facilities with a view to mould the students with great knowledge. Many volumes of books are avail in the library.
