Introduction
Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology (HKC), Kottayam, an institution of higher education started to provide meritorious education to students, is now stands at the supreme position of engineering institutions. Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology, which was established on the year 2011 is an ISO certified institution owned and managed by Noble Educational and Charitable trust, Kochi. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi (MG), University Kottayam. The campus which sprawled across 11.10 acres of land with a built up area of 11320 Sq.m is located at Papakuda, a nature friendly region in Ernakulam district. The college is 20 km from the nearest railway station, Piravom and is 35 km from the district head quarters.
The management furnishes top class facilities to the college for bringing it in to the pinnacle position of education. Prof DR Grasius M G, a well experienced person is the present principle of Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology. Qualified and versatile faculty members whose strong dedication to reach the institution at the peak of educational excellence is the real asset of HKC. Presently college offer 5 B.Tech degree courses with an intake of 60 students on each. 
Courses Offered by HKC
B.Tech in Civil Engineering - 60 seats : Civil Engineering, an oldest engineering discipline mainly deals with construction of different engineering structures. Civil engineering courses will give you deep knowledge and skills essential to construct different structures such as dams, bridges, roads, buildings etc. Even though job and placement opportunities are less for this branch, it has great demand in foreign countries and it's a common practice to migrate towards foreign countries after graduation. HKC offers 60 seats for Civil Engineering course with well established labs.
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - 60 seats : Mechanical engineering is also an oldest engineering discipline mainly concerned with the manufacture of different machinery parts. Deep knowledge in Mechanical Engineering mould one to manufacture various machines and devices. A Mechanical Engineer make the world more easier for living. Now mechanical engineering turned to be a course only for boys. HKC offers 60 seats for Mechanical Engineering with a set of proficient and versatile faculties.
B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - 60 seats : Electrical and Electronics Engineering is the broadest of engineering disciplines, offering wide range of job opportunities both in and outside the country. This course mainly deals with electrical machines, electro magnetism, semi conductor devices, robotics etc. With a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, one is capable to design, construct operate electrical and electronic circuit. Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology offer 60 seats for Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering - 60 seats : Computer is the basics of most of the developments in the world. Computer Science and Engineering is a new engineering discipline deals with different software's, hardware's, firmware's, chips, sensors, programs, operating system etc. HKC have well equipped computing labs with many PC's coupled with internet. Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology offer 60 seats for Computer Science and Engineering. Faculties who are proficient in operating computer and its applications are appointed for this course.
B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering - 60 seats : Electronics and Communication Engineering, a new engineering discipline, earlier it was a part of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The discipline mainly deals with electronic circuits, digital electronics, power electronics, communication devices, signals and systems, VLSI etc. Since the field is vey vast, it has wide range of job opportunities and one can get jobs in field such as consumer electronics, electricity generation and distribution, manufacturing, aviation, avionics, communication, telecommunication etc. For Electronics and Communication Engineering, 60 seats are avail in Holy Kings College of Engineering and Technology. Hostel : Both boys and girls hostels are available at HKC. Girls hostel is located outside the campus while boys hostel is inside the campus. Both the hostels are well structured and have the facilities for gaming's and computing. College busses are arranged for hostel girls. Vegetarian and non vegetarian food are available at each hostel. In addition a seperate canteen facility is arranged near boys hostel.
Library : Library is one among the essential facilities required for a college. HKC library which built up in 4500 sq. ft is located in separate block inside the campus. The library subsumes many volumes of books which include textbooks, journals, e-books etc. All newly releasing books were accommodated in seperate shelf for quick access. Xerox facility is also attached with the central library, where students can take copies of study materials at time.
Transportation : Well conditioned college buses is one among the real assets of HKC. Presently college own up to 8 college buses. All are under the control of experienced drivers to afford the students, a reliable and comfortable journey to and from the college. Transportation covers major cities such as Palarivattom, Vaikom, Thoppumpady, Kothamangalam, Kolenchery, Perumbavoor and Kadavanthara.
