College foundation details: Calicut Medical College is established in May 29th 1957. It is truly inaugurated in August 5th 1957 by governor of kerala, Dr. B. Ramakrishna Rao. In 1966 the Calicut medical hospital is established inside the Calicut medical college and it's expanded to about 1183 beds.
Courses offered: MBBS is Only UG courses offered by this college. MD in Anesthesia, Biochemistry, Dermatology, Venerology and leprology, Emergency medicine, Family medicine, General medicine, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Physical medicine and rehabilitation, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Radiodiagonis, Radiotherapy, Community medicine, Respiratory medicine, Transfusion medicine, Anatomy, Otorhinolaryngology, General surgery, ophthalmology these are main PG courses offered.
