The Carmel Polytechnic College is one of the famous polytechnic colleges in Alappuzha. It was establishes in the year of 1958. Mr. Fr.Gilbert Palakunnel laid the foundation of this college. This college is affiliated to AICTE of state and central governments. During beginning the college started with nearly 358 students and by later its strength gets up.
