The AWH Engineering College is self financing college and it was started in the year 2001. This college is affiliated to University of Calicut and approved by AICTE. The main aim of this college is to develop the student's skills. The faculties in this college are providing the quality education to the students. The AWH Engineering College has very nice infrastructure like spacious class rooms, well equipped labs, and many collections of books in library. This college also offering Hostel facilities for both boys and girls, Mess with quality and healthy food, separate reading rooms. Transportation facility is also available to all the areas. College Mission & Vision: The Mission of this college is to give the quality technical education to all the students. The entire student must have sound knowledge in the engineering principles. This college is providing open opportunity to all the students to build their career as professionals. This college vision is to give a technically strong student to this world for that this college is putting their effort in the student's career and building the students to face the challenging world.
Hostel: The AWH Engineering College has separate hostel for both boys and girls. There is separate warden is available for hostel; the warden will take care of all the internal things happen in the hostel. Hostels are provided with telephone facility, news paper, and mess facilities. This hostile environment is very nice to stay and all the students can feel like they are in their home. In hostel also there is separate computer center for the students who are staying in hostel will get all these benefits.
Computer lab: The AWH Engineering College has computer lab is well equipped and built in the basis where the students can work for long time. Totally this college has around 550 desktops with LCD monitors. Printer facility is also available in this computer lab. This computer lab systems are connected through network and also having internet connection with speed at 4Mbps. The internet facility is available to both the students and staffs. Internet facility will help the students to get more knowledge by reading more eBooks from the online.
Training & Placement: The AWH Engineering College has separate placement office to train the students to get placement through the campus interview. For placement purpose there is separate staff assigned to give training to all the students. The placement officer will give training to students like GD, Aptitude test and training, Interview tips and mock ups. Like this various training are given to the students to became strong in his/ her technical skills ns in communication skills and they also train the student to face the interview confidently. This placement cell was started in the year 2003 and it plays a major role from that day. This college also put MOU with the company Infosys for 3 years.
Library : The AWH Engineering College has very big library with enormous collections of books. This college library is sectioned into various parts like reference section, reading section, user guidance section and so many. This college library has around 14000 collections of technical books, national journals and international journals. Other than technical books there is also wide collection of magazines related to the engineering subjects which is benefits to staffs and students.
