Eru Vazhi Thiriyunnidam: A socially committed theme

Kalabhavan Mani, better known for donning interesting characters in his previous ventures is gearing up to bring back his golden days with some interesting projects. He is not ready to step back from the concrete thoughts and wishes to live according to his perspectives. Being a good human by nature, Velu believes in his social commitments to the society. Velu, a brave man by heart has been protecting 4 women who were not able to find an identity. Starting from the year 1982, the movie zooms into the life journey of Velu and his acts to take care of the downtrodden women. The bold steps taken by Velu is much inspiring for the present generation to move forward with courage during challenging situations. As one of the young woman sheltered by him leaves home, Velu decide to enforce the law giving her proper punishment. He was wise enough to keep himself away from the judiciary for the act. But unpredicted things happened later which forms the crux of the movie. After the 2004 release Chaayam, Biju C Kannan is back in business with his new venture 'Eru Vazhi Thiriyunnidam' which would be loved by movie enthusiasts. Scripted by the director himself, the movie also feature Indrans, Anoop Chandran, Sabu Thiruvalla, Chembil Ashokan, Safar, Alaikha, Veena Nair, Santhakumari, Seema G Nair, Jayasree and N C Mohanan in prominent roles. Popular politician M.M Mani will be seen in an important role as Thankapan Ashan in the movie. 'Eru Vazhi Thiriyunnidam' is produced by Sudhi K Nair and C Nagesh Kumar under the banner Skybond Films Division. The shooting was completed with Karunagapally as the major location. Some of the projects having Kalabhavan Mani in lead are 'Yathra Chodikkathe', 'Duffadar' and 'Loka Samastha'.
